I’m new to the series and the first VF I played was VF2, started like 3 days ago because I have no way of playing any other Virtua Fighter games (I mainly play KOF) Well what you need to know is that the CPU cheats, and it cheats right on your face, reads your inputs and has a response to everything you do, with unlimited coins I can do it on the standard arcade difficulty but I take some 7 minutes just on Kagemaru, so knowing that the CPU cheats, reads your inputs and knows what you are gonna do, you have to find a breach on the AI, and that you can only do by playing and learning how the game works, VF is a complex game and I don’t think that the arcade mode against the CPU does it any justice because of the reasons stated above, maybe you could try searching for the command list of your character and slowly evolving your technique, know what does more and less damage and what goes best against the CPU just remember that if the CPU countered your move in a certain way, don’t try to do it again the same way you did earlier, otherwise it’s just gonna read your input again, repeating forever and you are never gonna win.
